We have got excellent results by implementing Porosponic irrigation method in one of the farms located in outskirts of Dubai. As you can see plants are grown in sand with adding of small amount of MPK for growth consistency. However after second week of harvesting, cucumber plants that were watered by dripping system became weaker. (possible reasons: constant dripping of water washes away nutrients from roots and creates green algae type mold ) Those cucumber plants which were watered with subterranean method through osmo spikes, have healthy appearance and better taste. (roots are not effected by mold and moist doesn’t wash away nutrients from soil)
